The T-STEM chapter of the Technology Student Association held their kick-off meeting Monday 21st. Last year met an unexpected early end. As a result, the TSA chapter has decided to consider this year an extension of last year. Chapter officers will remain unchanged as will the chapter t-shirt design. The TSA chapter will have approximately 30 members this year and we are all excited about getting started again!
The Technology Student Association met with 15 members present. Final preparations are complete for the Distracted Driving Challenge sponsored by the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the University of Memphis. T-STEM has two teams entered in the event. We have two teams submitting entries for the Memphis Joint Engineering Council competition. Both projects ae near completion and will submitted on time. We have received word that the UofM will host this year's MATE underwater robotics competition. The event will be held in May. Current plans are for a live event, but a plan for virtual presentations is in place. Sent from Mail for Windows 10
